Our Story

We’re a married couple with a shared, enduring love of craft beer—a love that’s spanned continents and decades. Our journey began in the early days of the U.S. craft beer movement back in the early '90s, took deeper root while living in Germany, and was fully cemented when we moved to Portland, Oregon in 2010. Immersed in one of the world’s most vibrant beer scenes, we first joined the craft beer community as enthusiastic fans. But before long, we were inspired to roll up our sleeves and start brewing ourselves.

Over the next ten years, home brewing became both our passion and our creative outlet. It wasn’t just about making beer—it was about learning to express a sense of place through every pint. That philosophy led us here, just outside Spokane, Washington, where we’ve opened our own tiny-batch, hyper-local farmhouse brewery.

We’re incredibly lucky to call the Pacific Northwest home, a region rich in world-class brewing ingredients. We use locally sourced ingredients whenever possible, and we’re proud to say that 100% of our base grains are grown right here in the Inland Empire and malted just down the road by LINC Malt and Cascadia Malt. Our water? It comes straight from our own well.

Our goal is simple: to craft rustic ales and lagers that reflect the unique beauty and character of the place we live. We believe that great beer tells a story—and we’re honored to share ours with you, one small batch at a time.
